im 13 years old and 5 foot 4 and i weigh 9 stone 7 pounds everybody says im fat and i cant get a boy friend am i at a health weight and how can i lose it?

Dear I'm so fat

You are very young still and you will probably carry on growing taller and taller but if you want to lose weight now look at what you eat, do you eat lots of junk food?

Burgers, fries, coke and other fast foods contain high levels of sugar and fat, which in moderation can be ok for you but do not eat them more than once a week.

How much exercise do you get? Why not offer to take your neighbours dogs for a walk daily.
You get some extra exercise and do a good deed at the same time, they may even pay you, if you do this daily and cut out all the sugary fast foods you will see your weight start to drop and your fitness levels improve.

Start eating more healthy foods now and you will be healthy for life.

Hi, I'm 14 and quite often people tell me that I'm pretty and too skinny. Yet I've never had a boyfriend either. Boys aren't just interested in what you look like, tbh I'm underweight and every boy I've ever liked said he wouldnt date me cause they prefer girls with curves. I don't like it, so make the most of what you have babe! Being healthy, confident and happy are far more important than having a boyfriend! If you are 5'4' and weigh 9 stone 7, then BMI is 22.5. You are not considered 'fat' unless your BMI is around 26, so I expect that whoever told you you are fat is just jealous of your curves darling

you will grow and try to exercise and eat less, i wish when i was 13 i was 91/2. but please so something about it now because when you are my age (17) and i weight nearly 20 stone i wish i had done something about it because i am a recluse and depresses and think about taking overdoses nearly every night, and i really really dont want anyone to go through what i am, so please do it for urself.

You can eat less sugar; cut out crisps and fat. Eat lots of fruit and salads, yogurts, healthy food. Walk and exercise daily. Find a friend or ask yr mom to walk with you if you don't like to walk alone. Stay away from TV of things that remind you of food or eat healthy snacks like carrots, cucumbers, bananas. If you still feel worried, go to your doctor and he/ she will put you on a healthy diet/ eating plan.

Please don't let these people get you down as they are NOT true friends. Good friends help& advise you; they don't call you fat and make you feel bad about yourself. Many people get fat from time to time. So what? It only matters from a HEALTH viewpoint and so you feel GOOD about YOURSELF.

Try to make new friends who will treat you better. Stay away from these people and don't worry about what they think; they're cruel& immature. Once you feel better about yourself, you will attract better friends: Friends who like the INNER you and are not critical.

You're too young to date. When the time is right, boys will approach you on their own. Focus on your health and your school and making better friends. Romance will come on its own when you're older and the time is right and you feel good about yourself- whatever your weight.

exercise and eating less sugary food helps. if you stop eating, your body starts to store fat, and your stomach starts eating itself.

from reading your statistics, you dont sound fat to me, and if you're hanging out with people who tell you you are fat, then they are obviously awful people, to tell you that!

please, if you're truly worried, then cut out snacks, excerise.

and if a boy wont go out with you because of how you look, he's obviously too immature and stupid to see that if you like someone, how they look doesmt matter!
