Dear Agony Aunt

Last year I split up with my boyfriend and I was devastated, I loved him and didn't want him to leave me, so I told him I was pregnant.

I cant believe I did but I did, he was horrible about it anyway and told me to have an abortion so I pretended I did, recently he admitted he didn't believe me and how sorry he was.

I feel so bad but I cant tell him I was lying. my friends all think that I did as well so I have to lie all the time. then this year I thought I was pregnant but I wasn't, I thought I miscarried as I bled for England- I didn't miscarriage though it was just late heavy period. now I feel like I lied twice! what can I do.

 I feel so bad. I'm only 17.

Dear only 17

Safe Sex! they are the first two words I wanted you to see, please take precautions from now on so there won't ever be problems with suspected pregnancys.

If you do think you are pregnant go and see a Dr before you tell anyone about it.

Do you really want to be with a man who treats you so badly when you tell him you are pregnant?

You are still young and there is so much to see in the world that you should be out enjoying yourself not spending all your time at home with a baby or going out with a man who doesn't treat you right.

Will it make it better if you tell your friends you lied? probably not, why not just tell them that you don't want to talk about it anymore and just want to move on with your life.

Remember safe sex should be the rule from now on.

Forget your lies and move on- and just tell the truth from now on. Don't mention the past or pregnancy scare with anyone, friends or otherwise.

Forget this man also; he treated you badly whether or not he believed you pregnant- and you can do a lot better.

You shouldn't be having sex with him or anyone now. You should wait till you get into the right relationship. 17 is also far too young to have a child, so take precautions if you must have sex- both for STDS and pregnancy.

Pls behave with caution till you meet someone better. Try to immerse your self with hobbies& friends so you don't obsess about men and babies for now. Good luck.
