Keep talking to her, be her friend, get to know her and what makes her tick. Eventually she will get over your friend and realise that you have been there to support her and then things should hopefully go your way. Just be confident but don't be too pushy as it can make people suspicious. Good luck though! :)

no one knows what this girl is feeling or thinking listen to your heart not mind. the more you wait the more distant and insignificant you will become to her so therefor i advise you to go for it. What is the worst that could happen. Mabe she asked your mate out to get closer to you. Who are we to to say you will be alive and well when she recovers from her heart break you are exactly what she needs to recove. please dont act shy that gets you nowhere go fo it you never know!!!

i agree with sasha completely but i would also add to tell your friend that you like her. if you don't he could change his mind about her and that would be heartbreaking so, tell him asap and he will know not to go near her.

At the moment i think this girl is still upset about your mate, and I would advise not to ask her out quiet yet, as this is when girls use boys to make others jealous etc, you'll only end up getting hurt. Be understanding and comfort her but don't make it so obvious. This way she will see you for the kind person you are, and what she's been missing out on.
