Do they treat me differently because of my feminine side? PDF Print E-mail
Written by Agony Aunt
Hi agony aunt please give me some advice.
Recently i have noticed that the lads i hang around with dont ask me to go places or involve me in many things however, we are still friends.
i think this is because i am a little more open and have a bigger feminine side.it is strange as i am normally popular with them but recently it is like they single me out.  why do you think this is?
i told my girl mates and i am planning on doing a little "experiment".  i have to try and become a boys lad and see if they act any differently around me.  im scared that they will like me more like that.  do you think the experiment is a good idea?

Hey.
I think that you shouldn't change yourself for anyone- not even your frieds love. You should be yourself, and notbe a new person just for your friends. This is because being someone else hides YOUR true identity. If your friends are leaving you out, try talking to them. Im sure they will understand you, and if you dont then maybe they are not your trur friends. Try thinnking about making friends who actually like you for the person you are, not the person they want you to be.

You shouldn't change yourself for anyone. People either like you as you are or not. It's not wrong to tell yr friends how you feel, but if they don't care about yr feelings, you should look for new male friends. You should also keep in mind that there are some things like sports that men like to do alone without women, the way women have things they like to do alone. It wouldn't hurt to ignore them and do more stuff with yr girlfriends& let THEM come after YOU.

Hi there! You certainly seem like a nice guy so don't change for anybody! Your girl mates probably like you coz your'e you but your guy mates could possibly have a different situation. Try asking them individually how they feel about you being a bit more feminine and if they are cool about it. Your experiment sounds like it would work, coz the guys could suspect somethings up because you would act more different than usual. Try talking to them. Its the best way to find out how they feel and if they are being honest with you. :)
