You Shouldnt worry about your weight, your still growing. And being skinny isnt always that good! If your friends call you fat, well then they must not be very nice! You should talk to your mum about it because she is older and has probably has more knowledge.

Losing weight also cuts the risks of heart disease and diabetes- and other disorders.

It's also easier to lose weight with friends than alone.

Join them and try to lose weight with them. It will much better for your health in the long run. Cut out sugary foods, fatty foods, sodas. Drink lots of water. Also have 3 other glasses of water with a spoon of vinegar 3 times a day. The vinegar cleans the system and- coupled with exercise - will help you lose weight in a healthy way. Also, you should walk daily and - if you can afford it- join a gym with some friends. Just a brisk walk daily for one hour will help. If you make the effort , you WILL lose some weight. It doesn't matter if your friends lose more than you. What matters is making that effort. That way you will feel better about yourself. And you will have more self esteem. Personality is more important than looks. But caring about how you look means more respect for yourself and better confidence. Reading books on losing weight and gaining confidence will also help you. You should talk to your mom about how you feel; she WILL understand. Or you can go to a therapist or counselor at school and they will keep it confidential. They will understand. You will feel loads better with someone to listen to you. Also see a doctor to make sure there's no medical reason for your condition. Make a change today. Good luck.

hello,
i understand you. my friends are all thin too. im not fat really size 8 boarding a 10. they are all quite active but i can't join in because i have a heart condition. if you feel you have to lose weight you need to look at your diet possibly cut of white bread and change to brown or swap crisps for an apple, BUT DON'T do anything dangerous. you need to learn to love your body. dress to show off you best features, great curves are what a man wants trust me lol :P! girls often obess about their weight during secondary school. take 5 minutes to look in the mirror and look at 5 things you love on your body, don't think about anything but those 5 points.
